An 1846 copy of “A Christmas Carol”, past, present, and now preserved for the future

Charles Dickens would be proud. The spine and cover had become detached from the text of this keepsake purchased in England on a honeymoon long ago. We were able to rebuild the spine with a hollow tube to make it stronger than before. It was re-backed with a matching red cloth. And so, as Tiny Tim said, “A Merry Christmas to us all; God bless us, every one!”
